Our Story
Orris Labs launched Canada’s first perfume-making workshop in Toronto, Ontario in 2022. Our very first location was a basement studio with no windows, just rows of perfume creations waiting to be discovered.
Since then, we’ve grown into a multi-location experience designed for connection, creativity, and custom scent-making.
Port Credit: A Lakeside Scent Studio
In 2023, we introduced our beautiful two-storey Port Credit location just off Lakeshore. Guests were greeted with open windows, custom seating, and an intimate atmosphere perfect for date nights, girls’ get-togethers, and small-group perfume sessions. A private room was added for birthdays, bachelorettes, and group celebrations, where everyone could gather to craft a truly signature scent.
Niagara-on-the-Lake: The Express Perfume Wall
In 2025, we went south to Niagara-on-the-Lake, planting ourselves in the heart of NOTL on Queen Street. This became our third location and the first to feature our Express Perfume Wall. Visitors can now stop in for just 10–20 minutes and create their very own fragrance. Our NOTL studio is the perfect spot for bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, and private events, where every guest leaves with something uniquely their own.
Toronto: Our Newest Studio
Our newest Toronto location brings even more light and atmosphere: bigger windows, a lit tree, a live plant wall, and a speakeasy-style space filled with historic perfumery facts and artifacts from over the years.
With three distinct locations across Ontario, Orris Labs offers the ideal setting for any occasion, a celebration, a weekend activity, or a quiet afternoon with your chosen perfumist to sit down and create your signature scent.
From The Founder - Ameerah, Nose & Chemist
Orris Labs was created from a love I had of fragrance, both from my own upbringing in the Middle-East and Canada as well as my studies in Chemistry. I wanted to create a unique offering that brought friends and families together to craft their own scents. With a love of fragrance I always knew there was a way to make these amazing high-quality products more affordable, and customizable. Since who wants to smell like everyone else?
